SO. You wanna stitch stuff like this 👆
You're excited 😁 You're up for the challenge 💪
But instead you're doing this 👇
- Scrolling instagram, bookmarking pictures - wondering in awe how the pretty things were made.
- Scanning the image captions feeling disheartened by the limited info - You're stalking the creations of your fave embroidery artists looking for clues, but never finding enough info to actually start making something of your own.
- Going round in circles trying to figure out different bits but ending up with more questions than answers - How are the WINGS made? But what if they used a special material / technique / stitch? How do you use the wire - wait, where do you even GET the wire? How do you ATTACH the wings? How do I cut them out??? surely they fray!?! I’d need to see it done.
- Trying to find a decent tutorial / class / instagrammer teaching this stuff - ordering books, watching Youtube videos but never actually giving it a go.
- Feeling like you're not skilled enough for 3D embroidery - telling yourself 'maybe one day I’ll have a go at that I need to build up more embroidery skills' (but never learning the right skills to feel 'ready' to tackle it in 3D)
- Maybe you actually had a go but quickly gave up - You attempted some wings or flower petals but you didn't have enough info so they didn't look right, you got stuck or you felt out of your depth and gave up.
So you tell yourself stumpwork can wait until another day, you need to finish (distract yourself with) this other project first anyway - even though it doesn't light you up, but hey, at least you know what you're doing.
I don't want this for you, you don't want this for you,
let's stop this now.
Because the issue ISN'T a lack of ABILITY
It's a lack of KNOWLEDGE -
Scanning instagram captions for nuggets of info on how something was made is NOT a plan to master 3D embroidery.
You need tuition that’s SPECIFIC and COMPLETE,
Rather than broad and sketchy.
That's where I come in -
I’ve helped hundreds of embroidery enthusiasts and artists escape the frustration of directionless dabbling and fast track their learning journey - so in a matter of WEEKS they're stitching things they thought it would take them months or YEARS to master.
Because the quality of your tuition directly affects the quality of your results and I’m here to ensure your hard work pays off this time...
I know you've been stung before following sub-par instructions that make the learning process so much harder.
So this is how I teach ⚡️SKILL UPGRADING⚡️ here at S.G -
⚡️Easy to follow - beginner level detail. Broken down with no jargon. Using big words ain't clever, a good teacher simplifies.
⚡️Step-by-step - complete 👏start 👏to 👏finish detailed video walk-throughs
⚡️Quality Video Tuition - easier to follow, harder to fail 💪
⚡️Premium, Well Designed Templates - that I personally create, test and obsess over. So your projects are a joy to stitch and look amazing when you're done 🥰
⚡️Your Own Keep Forever Masterclass - to watch on demand, in your own home, at your own pace. Slow down - rewind - rewatch.
What we DON'T care for here -
❌ Hard to follow written instructions - with no video walkthrough that you have to guess how to interpret
❌ Low quality projects - that leave you with low quality results regardless of the effort you put in
❌ Sketchy or incomplete info - leaving you having to work out missing steps
❌ Watch/attend once workshops - Where you're rushing to keep up and leave flustered with incomplete notes that make no sense when you reread them a week later

Meet Me, Your Tutor 👋

Hi I'm Maxine, also known as 'Scarlett' for m'hair 😁
And I was struggling with the exact same things as you when I became obsessed with 3D embroidery.
There was a lot of 'I can't yet' and 'maybe one day'. Until I took the plunge, gave it a go, and found out - 'hey, wait a minute, this isn't falling apart! And it actually looks pretty good. huh.'
I started teaching embroidery because I couldn’t find designs I wanted to stitch and when I did attempt something, I’d reach bits that were hard or boring and I'd stop.
I wasn’t learning or getting better as fast as I wanted to and if I wanted to learn how to make something awesome I’d seen online, I had to piece together all the methods and learn on my own through trial and error.
It took a heck of a long time to get skilled that way but I slowly learnt to make more and more impressive things with thread.
And I couldn’t help but want to share each new skill I acquired and provide the sorts of learning materials I wished I'd had.
So I followed that urge to create the sorts of designs and projects that would have made my stitching journey so much easier and more fun.
And so 'Stitch Gothica' was born and over the last several years I've honed my skills - not just at embroidery and modern pattern design, but at explaining and demonstrating clearly, recording high quality and easy to follow videos for my students - minimising the annoying parts of learning embroidery, while making those more unique skills, accessible to everyone who has a passion to learn hand embroidery.
"I have looked at every conceivable way I could make my projects and tutorials as easy and enjoyable as possible while helping you to stitch your best work."
Now I empower hundreds of my embroidery-loving students with the tools and tutorials they need to grow their skills and stitch cooler and more impressive things then they thought they were capable of, with less head scratching and more fun having!
What my STUDENTS are saying about ME -
